The centerpiece of this cool leather bag is the handwoven and handbeaded textile adorning the top of the handbag. It was handmade by a talented artisan that I met in the Colca Canyon just outside a viewing point for condors. She showed me how she makes these lovely pieces by hand with a simple belt loom. Each one takes her 8-9 hours to make.
The completed bag is made in the Surquillo district of Lima with a body of soft yellow leather. The clutch has a zipper close, a contrasting cotton lining and a zippered inside pocket.
This pouch measures 8.5" x 6.5".
